Preparations for MDCAT test finalized: Secy HED

Secretary higher education department Muhammad Daud Khan has said all necessary preparations for the transparent conduct of Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Test ( MDCAT) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have been finalized.
He said “since the career of our future doctors depends on this test, all important and necessary steps for this test will be taken on priority basis.”
He has expressed these views while presiding over a joint meeting of ETEA and KMU organized in KMU regarding the MDCAT 2022.
Vice Chancellor KMU Dr Zia ul Haq, Special Secretary Health Abid Ullah Kaka Khel, Pro vice chancellor KMU Dr Lal Muhammad Khattak, Executive Director ETEA Khalid Ilyas, Director ETEA Dr. Asim Ali Shah, KMU Coordinator Admission Prof. Dr. Jawad Ahmed and Director Admission Muhammad Arshad Khan attended the meeting.
In the meeting, besides confirming the decision of the provincial admission committee to hold the test on Sunday, November 13 simultaneously in five regions of the province, it was decided to prepare the test paper according to the syllabus of PMC under the management of ETEA.
The forum also accorded approval to conduct the test in indoor halls for the convenience of students and to avoid any kind of weather problems.
The decision was also confirmed in the meeting that the test will start at 11 am and end at 2 pm simultaneously in all the centers.
Apart from providing the carbon copy of the paper to the students, the key of the test will be uploaded on the same day to PMC, ETEA and KMU websites.
