PPP leader Qamar Zaman Kaira has said PTI chairman Imran Khan to substantiate the allegations he has levelled at government and military officers.
“We were very patient when Benazir Bhutto was martyred […] there was a fire across the country but we decided to control things […] there was chaos […] but we preferred to save Pakistan,” he said at a press conference in Islamabad.
“It is upsetting that in this incident the suspect has been caught and he is in your custody now.”
Kaira also said that a joint investigation team should be constituted and a transparent investigation should be conducted into the matter. “It is surprising that the head of the province, where this attack took place, no statement has been released by him.
“It is his responsibility to keep the complete situation in front of the public,” the PPP leader added.
