President Dr Arif Alvi has urged the people to avail benefits from 20 different components of the Ehsaas programme.
Talking to media during his visit to One Window Ehsaas Center in Islamabad Wednesday, the President directed the concerned officials to inform people about the different components of the Ehsaas programme.
He said the government has given financial assistance through the Ehsaas Kafalat programme to the needy during the coronavirus pandemic. The President urged politicians to educate people how to avail benefits of the different segments of the Ehsaas programme.
Earlier, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Poverty Alleviation and Social Protection Dr Sania Nishtar briefed the President about various aspects of the programme. She said that one Window Ehsaas operations are being upscaled in all districts of the country while miniaturized version centers will be set up at Tehsil level.
