Presidential and Senate elections should be postponed: Adil Nawaz

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Peshawar region information secretary, Engineer Adil Nawaz said that the Election Commission should stop rigging under organized conspiracy for presidential and senate elections and issue specific seats to the PTI-backed Sunni Ittehad Council according to the constitution.
Talking to the reports Adil Nawaz said that the election commission has been busy since the first day to weaken Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, first the Bat symbol was taken away from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, later all the ticket holders were given independent status and allotted different symbols, even though they won with a huge majority.
He argued that then a lot of hurdles were created in Form 45 and Form 47 for our candidates and members of the assembly.
The PTI leader said that now when independent members of the assembly supported by PTI joined the Sunni Ittehad Council, the Election Commission rejected the request of the Sunni Ittehad Council for specific seats.
He argued that this decision of the election commission will affect the presidential and senate election. Adil Nawaz argued that the decision of the election commission is unconstitutional and illegal, which will be challenged in the court, the decision of the election commission regarding specific seats is against the constitution and the law by giving an illegal and unconstitutional decision.
He said that under a well-thought-out conspiracy, the Sunni Ittehad Council has been deprived of 77 specific seats in the National and Provincial Assemblies, which is a complete injustice. He argued that the Chief Election Commissioner should not remain in office. He added that the presidential and senate elections will not be approved by us until the final decision of the judiciary comes. He added that the senate and presidential elections cannot be held.
The people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa demand that presidential and senate elections be postponed. He said that he hopes to get relief from the High Court while he also has the right to go to the Supreme Court in this regard.
