PESHAWAR
The oath-taking ceremony of the Engineering University Teachers Association (EUTA) was held here today.
The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Qaisar Ali, administered the oath to the newly elected office bearers, including Prof. Dr. Feroz Shah as President, Prof. Dr. Zahid Wadood Mufti as Vice President, Dr. Atif Sardar as General Secretary, Dr. Rehan Ali Shah as Joint Secretary, and Dr. M. Amir as Finance Secretary.
The executive body also took the oath in the presence of Senior Dean, Prof. Dr. Rizwan Gul, heads of departments and senior faculty members.
The Vice Chancellor emphasized the importance of strengthening EUTA and using the platform to address faculty issues.
He highlighted the need for unity and collective efforts to resolve challenges faced by the university, encouraging members to work with dedication for the betterment of society and to seek eternal rewards in the hereafter.
Prof. Dr. Feroz Shah expressed full confidence in the Vice Chancellor’s leadership. He requested the Vice Chancellor to resolve the issue of long-pending selection board and address faculty concerns related to time-scale promotions and hardship cases for those meeting the criteria defined by the Higher Education Commission (HEC)
