The flights booked for teams’ departure on May 22, for Abu Dhabi, have been cancelled
The Pakistan Cricket Board on Wednesday announced to once again suspend the remaining fixtures of Pakistan Super League’s 6th edition amidst ‘operational difficulties’.
According to details, the decision has been made with consent and consultation of PSL franchises.
The Pakistan Super League’s 6th edition was suspended earlier this year due to covid-19 outburst within the PSL ‘bio-secure bubble’. PCB had announced to conduct the remaining league fixtures in start of June.
A virtual meeting of PCB and PSL management was held on Wednesday along with the participation of all six franchise owners.
It was discussed that the UAE government had presented tough conditions in front of Pakistani government and PCB.
Franchise owners also informed that players have reservations about remaining fixtures and healthcare facilities.
