Former prime minister will participate and address party’s programs in Peshawar
PESHAWAR
Special Assistant to Chief Minister for Information and Public Relations Barrister Mohammad Ali Saif has said when PTI chairman Imran Khan called a protest march against the PML-N led government in the centre, party workers and supporters will back him.
He said that the PTI chairman and former prime minister was struggling to protect sovereignty of the country and party workers would provide him historical support in this struggle.
He expressed these views during a press conference in Information Cell Peshawar here on Monday.
On this occasion, Central President Insaf Youth Wing Meena Khan, Insaf Traders Wing President Atif Haleem and Insaf Students Federation Provincial President Sohail Afridi were also present.
The spokesperson of the provincial government shared with media persons that Imran Khan will pay a visit to Peshawar on Tuesday (today).
He said the PTI chairman will hold various meetings with the party members and address scheduled programs of the Insaf Ulama Convention, Insaf Traders Wing, Youth Wing and Insaf Students Federation in Peshawar.
Barrister Saif said that the incumbent federal government has failed on all fronts as it did not provide any relief to inflation-hit people, adding that the recent leaked audio tapes have increased problems of the PML-N led government manifold.
“The audio leaks proved that the imported government was engaged in conspiracies,” he alleged.
KP government spokesman maintained that Imran Khan has been fighting for freedom and his rallies across the country were part of his historical struggle, he added.
Insaf Youth Wing Central President Meena Khan and Insaf Traders Wing Provincial President Atif Haleem also spoke on the occasion.
