Imran khan showed displeasure at encroachments on hospital’s land and asked the relevant officials to ensure their immediate removal

Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf chairman Imran Khan directed the party’s government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to make Galiyat a hub of tourist activities for the region’s development.
He issued the directions while talking to the officials of the wildlife department during a private visit to Nathiagali and Ayubia areas here.
The PTI chief, who reached the region, met party leaders, including Naeemul Haq, Asad Umar, Jahangir Khan Taren, Aleem Khan and Zakir Khan.
Insiders claimed the participants discussed the possible Supreme Court decision in Panamagate case and preparations for the 2018 general elections.
They added that Imran Khan had decided to opt for a ‘more aggressive’ stand against the PML-N-led federal government in the wake of the court’s Panamagate verdict.
The insiders said the party would mobilise all its wings, especially one on youths, across the country.
Mr Imran went to famous jogging tracks in the area and expressed displeasure at their poor development.
He asked the relevant officials to ensure early repairs of the tracks.
The PTI chief also visited the Lalazar Park and said two theme parks would be developed in Nathiagali and adjoining hilly areas before being linked to Thandiani area.
He also spoke to local residents and Galiyat Development Authority officials about the Ayubia chairlift and ordered the immediate replacement of the outdated lift.
Mr Imran called the forest and health secretaries for a briefing today (Friday).
He also ordered the installation of a chairlift on Mira Jani Top.
Mr Imran also visited Nathiagali Bazaar and asked locals and tourists about the ongoing anti-encroachment campaign in Galiyat.
He issued directives for the upgradation of the main Nathiagali hospital as the District Headquarters Hospital.

Mr Imran also ordered the linking of Galiyat with the CPEC-connecting roads through expressway to help the province benefit from the multibillion dollars project.
