PTI while strongly condemning the unannounced restriction on the meetings with PTI founder has demanded of superior judiciary to intervene in the matter forthwith.
PTI information secretary Sheikh Waqas Akram said PTI is highly concerned over the treatment being meted out to PTI founder. If no notice is taken of it then stern reaction will come.
He said this in an emergency press conference here Monday.
He questioned dictatorial government wants to take what advantage by slapping restrictions on meetings with PTI founder. PTI founder has been kept in death cell, he said adding it is matter of shame.
Government wants to break him psychologically but it has not succeeded so far in it, he alleged.
PTI founder is man of strong nerves, he remarked.
Only one political meeting has been allowed with PTI founder during six months. What meetings are taking place now, they are occurring due to court’s orders. PTI senators, MNAs and MPAs are not being allowed to meet PTI founder despite court’s orders.
The meeting of Bushra Bibi with her relatives are not arranged. Conversation of his sons are not allowed with PTI founder.
