Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government spokesperson Barrister Mohammad Ali Saif on Wednesday strongly criticized the actions of the incumbent federal government, referring to it as a “fake and oppressive” regime responsible for acts of cruelty and violence, including the D-Chowk incident.
Highlighting parallels with the Model Town tragedy, he accused the federal government of perpetrating atrocities against unarmed individuals, particularly youth, calling it an act of fear-driven governance.
Saif emphasized that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has displayed resilience by enduring such violence, asserting that the government’s actions, such as firing on young citizens, reflect the height of oppression.
He criticized the government’s response, suggesting they celebrated these events instead of expressing remorse.
Further, Saif condemned Atta Tarar, Federal Minister for Information , for holding a press conference at the site of the violence, calling it a “new example of Yazidiism.”
He reaffirmed that PTI’s leader, Imran Khan, remains deeply rooted in the hearts of the people and cannot be sidelined through oppressive measures.
Spokesperson called for immediate sessions of the Senate and the National Assembly, along with the KP Assembly, to address the situation.
