PESHAWAR
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Minister for Forests, Environment, and Wildlife Syed Muhammad Ishtiaq Urmar has said the provincial government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has taken pragmatic steps to reforms the system and eradicate practices of corruption and achieve targeted goal development in the province.
He made these remakes while addressing a function in Peshawar here on Wednesday.
The provincial minister said that eradication of poverty, backwardness, ignorance and unemployment in the province was the mission of the KP government,adding that development process in different sectors have been initiated as the PTI government has launched people friendly result oriented schemes across the province.
Forest Minister claimed improvement and promotion in the fields of health and education, forestry and local government, he added positive change was taking place.
Ishtiaq Urmar said that in previous governments in the province failed to win the hearts of the majority and did not introduce any specific mega project.
“ PTI chairman Imran Khan’s aim was to make the people aware. KP Government committed to a transparent governance which will further contribute to the development and provision of services to the people.
Mr Ishtiaq also lashed out at the poor performance of the successive governments in the province and lauded the PTI performance in different sectors.
