Malik Adeel Iqbal, Member of the Provincial Assembly and Chairman of the Standing Committee on Information and Public Relations, has termed April 10 as the darkest day in the history of Pakistan.
He stated that on this day, the elected Prime Minister, a leader elected by the people, was removed from power through a “regime change, and corrupt individuals were imposed upon the country and its citizens”.
In a statement, Iqbal expressed that the manner in which the beloved and popular national leader of the people was humiliated could never be forgiven or forgotten.
He emphasized that since the overthrow of Imran Khan’s people-friendly government, the nation has been plagued with worsening conditions under the current rulers, who have failed to improve the country’s situation. He added that the continuing hardships faced by the people serve as undeniable proof of the failure of the corrupt leadership.
Malik Adeel Iqbal further announced that on Thursday, April 10, at 2:00 PM, the Insaf Youth Wing will hold a large convention at Nishtar Hall in Peshawar.
The convention will kick off a movement demanding the release of Imran Khan, the popular public leader and founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
