Violation of Election Commission’s code of conduct by Pakistan Tehrek-e-Insaf Ministers and Members Provincial Assembly who allegedly shared pictures of official ballot papers on social media.
Along with sharing the official ballot papers, the Ministers and Members Provincial Assembly also inscribed the ballot papers with the following slogans “Imran will win and Bat par Tapa”.
When contacted, Provincial Election Commissioner Spokesperson Sohail Ahmad, he said, notice has been taken of the posted photos of the official ballot papers on social media. Posting pictures of ballot papers is a violation of code of conduct, Sohail Ahmed further said. Legal action will be taken after investigating the matter, Election Commission spokesperson Sohail Ahmad said.
