PESHAWAR : A large rally was held in Peshawar on Thursday calling for the immediate release of the PTI founder Imran Khan, Bushra Bibi, and other imprisoned party members. The rally witnessed a significant turnout, with prominent party leaders and workers in attendance. The rally commenced from Ring Road Khyber Kalay (village) and concluded at the Peshawar Motorway Toll Plaza. Provincial PTI President Junaid Akbar Khan, Peshawar Region President MNA Sher Ali Arbab, Senator Faisal Javed, Ahmed Niazi, and other senior leaders led the march. Addressing the participants at the conclusion of the rally, Faisal Javed, Sher Ali Arbab, and other speakers demanded the early release of the PTI founder. They emphasized that the release was crucial for the survival of the country, the restoration of democracy, and the upholding of the rule of law and the Constitution. Junaid Akbar Khan described the PTI founder as “a leader of the Muslim Ummah” who, he alleged, was being targeted through “politically motivated and baseless cases.” Sher Ali Arbab announced that a broader movement for the release of the PTI founder would be launched soon.
