The distribution of minority cards has begun in Punjabwith a ceremony held at the Deputy Commissioner’s office in Lahore. During the event, Deputy Commissioner Lahore, Syed Musa Rizvi, distributed the cards to members of the minority community. The cards were issued after biometric verification, and each recipient will receive a monthly payment of 10,500 rupees. Speaking at the event, the Deputy Commissioner Lahore stated that this initiative was aimed at alleviating the economic hardships faced by the minority community.
Through the Minority Cards, members of the minority community will be provided with the opportunity to live a dignified life.
He further assured that under the guidance of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, financial assistance will be provided to the deserving and underprivileged individuals.
