Punjab cabinet has approved hundreds of posts in CD, Excise, tourism, police, home department and several other departments.
As per media reports, 32nd meeting of Punjab cabinet took place under Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Maryam Nawaz and the cabinet accorded approval to make appointments in different departments.
Approval was given for appointment of constables against 216 vacant posts in Excise Taxation and Narcotics Control department.
1000 new posts were approved for crime control department .
900 new posts were approved for Murree Tourism police, new vacancies for information technology and innovation department and new posts for TDCP on contract basis were approved.
Rules and regulations for selection of vice chancellors of government medical universities were approved.
Post of director agriculture for Auqaf department was approved.
