A great Ceremony held in the honour of Chakwal’s renowned spiritual and social personality Syed Tasveer Abbas Hamdani, organized by senior UN official Malik Iftikhar Ahmed, attended by Hafiz Ammar Yasir, Provincial Minister for Minerals, Islamabad based Senior Journalist Syed Tabassum Abbas Shah and several notables of chakwal.
Speakers paid homage to Syed Tasveer Abbas Shah Hamdani for his immense services to the region. Punjab is a province rich in important minerals including limestone and iron, said Hafiz Aamar Yasir while addressing the ceremony.
He said that government is taking all possible steps for the development of minerals. The whole area of chakwal is proud of a spiritual and social personality like Syed Tasveer Abbas Shah Hamdani. UN Representative Malik Iftikhar Ahmed’s social work for his region is commendable, such people are a beacon for the society.
On this occasion, Malik Iftikhar Ahmed thanked the guests and appreciated the services of Provincial Minister Hafiz Ammar Yasir regarding “Khatam Nabuwat” and presented the gift of a new car to Syed Tasveer Abbas Shah Hamdani along with the provincial minister on the birth of his granddaughter.Chairman Union Council Malik Haji Riaz Awan, Arshad Bhalial Chairman Union Council Bhalial, Malik Abdul Manan, Malik Hafeez Anjum, Malik Taswar Patwari, Malik Saqib, Malik Sajjad, Sardar Fakhar, Syed Natiq Shah, Syed Nasir Shah, Syed Kazim Shah, Dr. Tafzal Abbas Malik, Malik Zill -E-Hussain, Malik Ghaffar, Malik Yaqub Guffawala, Sardar Malik Bahadur Khan, Malik Hafeez Anjum Chakwal, Malik Pervaiz Buchhal Kalan, Malik Munir Padriar, Malik Naeem, Malik Naseem, Malik Naveed, Malik Nawazish, Malik Noshirwan, Malik Faisal Munara, renowned businessman Syed Shujaat Abbas Hamdani, Malik Sajjad Jhamra and Prominent political and social personalities of the area including Malik Altaf attended the ceremony.
The event took the form of a gathering. At the end of the ceremony, Syed Tasveer Abbas Hamdani led the prayers and thanked all the guests including Hafiz Ammar Yasir and Malik Iftikhar.
Famous poet and writer Mubashir Hussain’s compering made the event memorable.
