The Vice Chairperson of Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) Dr Faiza Rasheed has condemned the recent increase in electricity tariff and levy of fuel adjustment charges and asked the government to immediately take back the decision.
Faiza Rasheed on Tuesday said that the federal government withdrew the recent increase or face the protest along with the masses, adding that QWP rejected the increase in electricity tariffs and demanded the government to wake up from its slumber and take the nails of conscience.
She said that the PTI government changes the prices of basic necessities like ghee, rice and flour to the poor people every week, sometimes on electricity tariffs and sometimes on daily necessities.
Faiza said that the days of the government are over and that is why the change government has become confused due to the meetings of the opposition and is venting its anger on the people.
The oppressive economic policies of the government and said that poverty, inflation and starvation was on the rise in the country, she added.
