Lahore: Due to the recent increase in the prices of diesel it is expected that Railway will increase fares of the trains. According to sources Railway Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmad will make an announcement in this respect in a couple of days. The increase of fares is expected from 2 to 15 per cent. Sources said it is expected that A. C. Sleeper fare will be increased 15 per cent, A.C. Business 10 per cent and economy class from 2 to 5 per cent. INP
