Rana welfare organization distributed 100 Ramadan packages among deserving ones here in sub-division Landi Kotal on Wednesday.
In this connection, a gathering was organized in Government High School Zentara, Wali Khel that was attended by ex-candidate for PK 106 and local elite of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf(PTI)Amir Muhammad Khan as the chief guest.
Beside Inamullah Afridi, chairman of the organization, chairmen village councils 14 and 15 Haji Ajmer Afridi and Anwar Shaheen Afridi,youth counselor Maulana Taj Ali Shah scores of tribal elders, religious scholars, councilors and members of the civil society participated in it.
Speaking to the moots Amir Muhammad Khan said that the religion of Islam has valued helping the needy and orphans therefore being Muslims we should extend every possible assistance to them especially in the holy month of Ramadan.
He added that with meager contributions from the rich ones can change the fate of these deserving people and they can become useful citizens of the society.
He urged the philanthropists to come forward and support and encourage such organizations that care the needy and orphans.
Prior to it, Inamullah Afridi, chairman of Rana organization appraised the participants of aims and performance of the organization.
At the end the chief guest gave away 100 Ramadan packages to deserving people and orphans of the area.
