RAW agent arrested from Lahore


Punjab’s Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) on Wednesday revealed arrest of a RAW agent, the premier spying agency of India, along with 9 members of banned organizations.
CTD Spokesperson said Wednesday 38 intelligence based operations were carried out in Punjab to avoid any unwanted situation, during which Naveed Akhtar, allegedly an Indian agent was also held from Lahore.
The CTD Spokesperson said suspect was allegedly involved in two major terrorist attacks in Johar Town and Anarkali areas of Lahore. The spokesperson further revealed CTD had arrested 40 suspicious people from across Punjab out of which 9 were arrested officially for they allegedly worked for banned outfits.
