Referral ambulance service was inaugurated here in Rural Health Center (RHC),Ali Masjid,subdivision Jamrud last day.
In this connection a simple moot was organized that was attended by former Member Provincial Assembly (MPA)Bilawal Afridi as chief guest beside District Emergency Officer Syed Shoab Mansoor,Tehsl Chairman Said Nawab Afridi,Emergency Officer Baryal Mukhtyar,scores of tribal elders, Rescue 1122 workers and members of civil society.
The chief guest cut the ribbon to formally open the facility and offered prayers for its success and later on he inspected the well-equipped ambulance service and was brified of it.
Speaking on the occasion the ex-parliamentarian said that the remote areas of Khyber lacked basic facilities and availability if such kind service was a lucky thing for the residents.
He said that efforts would be made to win facilities being enjoyed by the citizens in other parts of the country.
The Rescue 1122 district head said that the rescuers will shift the patients on the authentic doctor’s referral slip to any hospital inside the district or Peshawar.
The dwellers of the locality thanked the concerned department for initiating a human well being practice and hoped that will benefit them.
It is worth mentioning here that the service has already functioned in health centers across the Khyber.
