In light of instructions by the Chief Minister Mahmood Khan and Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Dr Shahzad Bangash, the Minister Relief, Rehabilitation & Settlement Iqbal Wazir along with Deputy Commissioner, North Waziristan District on Thursday, handed over 05 trucks of relief items including tents, kitchen sets, NFIs and mattresses to afghan authorities as initial assistance for the earth quake affectees in Afghanistan.
Further relief item, medical teams and medicine will be dispatched today upon receiving from provincial Govt. It is pertinent to mention here that District administration is providing all out support in easy passage of pedestrian movement, shifting of injured to DHQ Miranshah for which 06 ambulances have been placed at zero point Ghulam khan.
