PESHAWAR: Rehman Medical Institute (RMI), under its welfare initiative RMI Relief, organized a free medical camp in the flood-affected area of Pir Baba, Buner. During the camp, around 500 male and female patients received free medical consultation and treatment. A team of 32 members from RMI, including 5 female and 5 male doctors, along with medical staff and students, participated in the camp. Considering the urgent need for female healthcare providers in the area, special arrangements were made to ensure the presence of women doctors and specialists. According to the RMI spokesperson, patients were provided with free medical care as well as medicines. Both male and female doctors volunteered their services and extended immediate healthcare support to those affected by the floods. The spokesperson further added that RMI Relief is a welfare initiative through which hundreds of deserving patients receive free treatment every year.
