Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Deputy General Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Malik Muhammad Saeed, has rejected as false and baseless the news circulating regarding PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s alleged visit to Peshawar.
In a statement issued here on Friday, Malik Muhammad Saeed said that minor differences are common in every political party; however, the rumours being spread about Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s visit are completely contrary to the facts.
He clarified that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will visit Peshawar, and when the schedule is finalised, it will be officially announced by the party.
He added that once the visit is confirmed, the entire KP will witness it and accord Bilawal Bhutto Zardari a grand welcome. Malik Muhammad Saeed alleged that certain vested interests were deliberately spreading false and misleading information for their own purposes.
Appealing to the public and party workers, he urged them not to pay heed to rumours and to wait for the official announcement regarding the visit.
