ISLAMABAD: The rupee on Friday appreciated by 03 paisa against the US dollar in interbank trading and closed at Rs280.82 compared to the previous day’s closing of Rs280.85. According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of the dollar in the open market were recorded at Rs282.6 and Rs282.85, respectively. The price of the Euro increased by 66 paisa to close at Rs324.02 against the last day’s closing of Rs323.36, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP). The Japanese Yen went up by 01 paisa and closed at Rs1.83, whereas the exchange rate of the British Pound witnessed an increase of Rs1.63 and closed at Rs368.56 compared to the previous day’s Rs366.93. The exchange rates of the Emirates Dirham and Saudi Riyal declined by 01 paisa each to close at Rs76.45 and Rs74.87, respectively. Web Desk
