Samp Army got another success, Patil’s brilliant wicket keeping

In the 10th match of Abu Dhabi T10, Morsol Samp wicket keeper Manik Patil made three stumpings and three catches to defeat the Abu Dhabi team.
Samp Army scored 118 runs for the loss of 5 wickets thanks to the innings of Faf du Plessis and Karim Jannat. Both scored 29, 29 runs. Jason Holder also scored an unbeaten 29 runs.
Team Abu Dhabi could only score 83 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in which Holder got 12 runs and 3 wicket and Moin Ali got 4 runs and 2 wickets.
This was Abu Dhabi’s 3rd consecutive defeat in three matches. Team Abu Dhabi won the toss and decided to field.
Samp Army opener Ibrahim Zadran scored 17 runs by hitting opening bowler Kyle Meyers with two fours and a six in the first over.
In the eighth over, Holder added a four off Noor Ahmed and Jannat hit a six to increase the total score. Jannat also hit a six on the first ball of Rais’s ninth over.
Mills caught Jannat out for 29 runs on the first ball of the last over by Lewis du Plessy. Holder remained unbeaten on 29 off just ten balls with the help of two fours and three sixes.
19 runs scored in this over and Samp Army scored 118 runs for the loss of 5 wickets. Team Abu Dhabi got a target of 11+ run rate which needed a good start but opener Kyle Meyers got out on the first ball of the innings. .
In the second over, Hales hit a boundary off Peter Hatzoglu, but the third ball he was brilliantly stumped by Manik Patil. Another brilliant stumping by Patil, dismissing Lewis du Plessy for 4 runs.
Benton then dismissed Moeen Ali for 16 runs by Najeebullah Zadran. Patil stumped Colin Ingram off Ali’s delivery, his third wicket.
By the end of the fourth over, half the players of Team Abu Dhabi had returned to the pavilion with a score of 38 runs.
The series of falling wickets continued in the sixth over when Asif Khan was caught by Patil off Salman Irshad’s ball for 4 runs. Thus, out of 6 players, 4 were dismissed by Patil. Then Roelof van der Merwe was also dismissed by Patil. With 56 runs needed off the last 12 balls, Sharfu hit a four and a six off Salman Irshad in the 9th over.
However, the Abu Dhabi team could only score 83 runs for the loss of 8 wickets and Sharfu remained not out by scoring 18 runs. Manik Patil was adjudged Man of the Match.
