Senior Vice President of Pak-Afghan Giant Chamber of Commerce and Industry, President of Frontier Customs Agents Association Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, former Senior Vice President and Member Executive Committee of Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry, senior columnist, analyst, intellectual and President of Abasin Columnists Association Zia-ul-Haq Sarhadi was felicitated by the Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry in a meeting of the Executive Committee for being awarded the Sitara-e-Imtiaz by the Government of Pakistan and his services to the business community were appreciated.
During the meeting, Businessmen Forum Leader Ghazanfar Bilour, Sarhad Chamber President Junaid Altaf, Senior Vice President Muhammad Nadeem, Executive Committee members and former presidents congratulated him.
Expressing his views, Zia-ul-Haq Sarhadi said that receiving the Sitara-e-Imtiaz from the Government of Pakistan is a source of pride for him, while the love, respect and sincerity received from the Sarhad Chamber and the business community has increased this happiness many times over.
He thanked all his colleagues and said that he does not consider this award as his personal achievement but as an acknowledgement of the joint struggle and services of the business community and colleagues.
He paid special tribute to his leader Senator Ilyas Ahmed Bilour (late) and said that he was a great leader and a strong voice of the business community.
This national award that I received today includes his guidance, the friendship of my colleagues, the love of friends and everyone’s prayers. President of the Border Chamber Junaid Altaf and Leader of the Businessmen Forum Ghazanfar Bilour also presented him with the Chamber’s shield.
