PESHAWAR: District Administration Battagram has setup a Sasta Bazar aiming facilitation of consumers to get subsidized food items in holy month of Ramzan. Deputy Commissioner Battagram, Ashfaq Khan Tuesday visited the Sasta Bazar and inspected prices of food items. He said Sasta Bazar has been established on the directives of provincial government to facilitate masses during Ramzan. He said that people living in far flung areas would be provided daily use items at subsidized rates. He also warned shopkeepers to avoid price hike and hoarding and said that strict action would be taken against violators.
DC inaugurates library, kids room, lecture hall at govt schools in Gujar Khan
GUJAR KHAN: Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi Tahir Farooq inaugurated a library and kids Room at Government Boys High School and a lecture hall at Government Girls Primary School during his visit to Missa Kaswal, tehsil Gujar Khan on Tuesday. The library has been set up with the personal efforts of a high ranking officer where his father Haji Raja Qamar-ul-Zaman Khan had been studying in 1930s. News Agency
DC Tahir Farooq took a detailed look at the library and lecture hall and expressed interest in the books and facilities available.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that those who remember their hometown and the schools where their parents had studied deserve tribute.
Deputy Commissioner Tahir Farooq said that those who helped in setting up the library and lecture hall also deserve appreciation.
