Two more matches have been decided in the Naya Nazimabad Bankers Cup Ramadan Cricket Tournament. Real Time Loins Islamabad outclassed Passion Cricket Club by 116 runs at Naya Nazimabad Cricket Stadium. Batting first, Real Time scored 194 runs for the loss of four wickets in the allotted twenty overs.
Younis Afridi scored 52 runs, Umar Baja scored 50 runs and Mansoor Saleem scored 49 runs. Hasnain Alam dismissed three players. In response, Passion Cricket Club’s team collapsed for seventy-eight runs in the sixteenth over. Umair Fata took three wickets while Adil Khan and Naseem Akhater took two wickets each. Younis Afridi was named Man of the Match.
In the second match, Attock Sports defeated Saudi Falcons by six runs after an interesting contest. Batting first, Attock Sports scored 146 runs for the loss of eight wickets. Khurram Manzoor scored 31 runs and Fahad Iqbal scored 29 runs. Muhammad Sarb and Muhammad Ahmed took two wickets each.
In response, the Saudi Falcons team managed to score one hundred and forty runs for the loss of nine wickets in twenty overs. Wajid Hasnain batted aggressively. Wajid scored 61 runs off 27 balls with the help of four sixes and four fours.
But he could not win his team. Muzaffar scored twenty five runs. Shahid Mirani, Rahman Ghani and Nadir Shah dismissed two players each. Shahid Mirani was declared the best player of the match for his all-round performance.
In the event, two matches will be played ( today ) Monday. In the first match, Attock Sports will face Omar Associate at 7:30 PM. AZ Real Estate and Humanity Door teams will compete at 11:15 PM.
