Riyadh: Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan has described the Joint Makkah Defence Pact signed by the leaders of Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Türkiye as a significant milestone for regional peace, development and the prosperity of the peoples of the three countries. In a statement posted on his X account, the Saudi Foreign Minister said the agreement reflects the longstanding brotherly relations among the three nations and marks an important step forward in trilateral defence cooperation. He said the pact demonstrates the shared determination of Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Türkiye to address common security challenges affecting regional peace and stability. Prince Faisal stated that the agreement represents the three countries’ collective political commitment to safeguarding regional security, promoting stability and fostering a safer strategic environment.
