SC constitutional bench dismisses petition seeking disqualification of CM Sindh Murad Ali Shah

ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court (SC) constitutional bench has dismissed the petition regarding disqualification of Chief Minister (CM) Sindh Murad Ali Shah being not contested. The petition was filed by Mehmood Akhtar Naqvi. This is fifth petition which has been rejected being not persuaded. The other petitions which were rejected include extension in army chief service tenure. The petition seeking court’s orders for disqualifying Murad Ali Shah came up for hearing on Thursday in SC constitutional bench. SC constitutional bench presided over by Justice Amin ud Din Khan took up the case for hearing. The constitutional bench dismissed the petition being not persuaded. Mehmood Akhtar Naqvi had filed petition against Murad Ali Shah. ONLINE
