PTI chairman Imran Khan has said imported government has stirred up severe constitutional crisis in Punjab , the largest province of the country.
“imported puppets are fanning constitutional anarchy and chaos in Punjab”, he said this in a statement issued here Tuesday.
He went on to say earlier a criminal puppet was imposed on the province as chief minister through sham election. Now the office of the president has been insulted keeping aside all constitutional requirements. Attempt has been made to remove governor Punjab from his office in a shameful manner for his insistence on the protection of the constitution, he added.
The show of this flagrant subversion of the constitution in Punjab is being witnessed silently, he added.
It is imperative that Supreme Court should see the matter itself in view the sensitivity of the situation., he demanded. The matter of conscience sellers in Punjab should also be brought to its end without further delay, he held.
