SCCI felicitates newly-elected office bearers of FPCCI

Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) termed historic win and clean sweep of United Business Group (UBG) and Businessmen Panel Progressive (BMP) in Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce (FPCCI) elections for the term of 2024-25, as a victory of the real business community.
In a joint statement here on Monday, SCCI president Fuad Ishaq, senior vice president Sanaullah Khan and vice president Ijaz Khan Afridi congratulated UBG former chairman Iftikhar Ali Malik, UBG senior leader former senator Ilyas Ahmad Bilour, UBG chairman S.M Tanveer, UBG president Zubair Tufail along with the newly-elected president FPCCI Atif Akam Sheikh, senior vice president Saqib Fayyaz Magoo, and the newly elected vice presidents, UBG KP chairman Ghazanfar Bilour, secretary general UBG Haji Muhammad Afzal, members of general body FPCCI and executive members of FPCCI Zahidullah Shinwari over the overwhelming win in FPCCI elections.
Being a real business community representative forum, UBG is fully capable of resolving the community issues, the statement said.
Fuad Ishaq, SCCI president in the statement said the overwhelming victory of UBG and BMP in FPCCI elections was fruits and reflection of joint unity and collective struggle.
He said newly-elected president FPCCI Atif Ikram Sheikh would take steps for resolution for the business community and will play a role in stabilizing the economy by providing employment opportunities in the country.
The newly-elected office bearers of FPCCI will leave no stone unturned for bringing industrial and business progress in the country, the SCCI chief hoped.
Fuad Ishaq paid rich tribute to UBG senior leaders Iftikhar Ali Malik, S.M Muneer (Late), former senator Ilyas Ahmad Bilour along with UBG Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chairman Ghazanfar Bilour and Secretary General Haji Muhammad Afzal, stating their unflinching and dynamic leadership has played a pivotal role to united the business community throughout the country under banner of UBG.
