SCCI launches initiatives to devise a comprehensive economic revival roadmap

SVP M. Nadeem reaffirms commitment to resolve traders’ issues on priority basis, Bodybuilding Association greets newly elected cabinet of SCCI
PESHAWAR
Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry has launched initiatives to outline a decade-long comprehensive economic roadmap for revival of Industry and businesses in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
This was revealed by SCCI senior vice president Muhammad Nadeem while addressing members of the delegation of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Bodybuilding Association during a visit to the chamber house on Friday.
Delegation was led by the association’s provincial president Saeedur Rehman and General Secretary Adeel Khan.
Other members include division president Malik Anwar Zeb, General Secretary Ebadur Rehman, District General Secretary Majeed Khan, provincial press secretary Mehmoodur Rehman, Mr Pakistan Syed Muhammad alias Baba, Shahid Khan Afridi, Haider Khan, Jibran Khan, Yousaf Ustad, Usman Ghani, Iftikhar.
SCCI Secretary General Muqtasid Ahsan, Hamoodur Rehman and others were also present on the occasion.
The meeting agreed to jointly work for reforms in the Bodybuilding sector, prompt resolution of issues and encouragement of bodybuilders.
Muhammad Nadeem said SCCI is the sole trader representative forum and effective voice, which has actively been striving to foster commercial and trade activities and take up issues of the business community with relevant authorities at central and provincial level.
He informed that SCCI is working on a 10-15 year-long economic revival roadmap and the plan would be presented to federal and provincial governments that may assist to make KP a hub of economic and trade activities, and bring regional economic growth, prosperity and progress.
SCCI SVP assured the visiting KP Bodybuilding Association to take up all issues with authorities concerned at local and central level and efforts would accelerate to provide all kinds of relief and incentives to people attached with the bodybuilding sector.
Secretary General Muqtasid Ahsan on the occasion briefed the meeting regarding the procedure of chamber membership, tax, legal and other matters.
The delegation extended heartfelt felicitations to newly elected SCCI President Junaid Altaf, Senior vice president Muhammad Nadeem and Vice president Sabir Ahmad Bangash for taking charge of their respective offices and hoped the newly cabinet would play a role in providing incentives, relief and facilities to the business community on priority basis.
Later, the delegation also held a meeting with SCCI President Junaid Altaf and apprised him of the issues allied with the Bodybuilding sector.
SCCI president assured to resolve all the problems by taking them up with relevant authorities in an effective manner.
