PESHAWAR
Secretary Industries and Chairman Board of Directors (BoD) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Economic Zones Development Management Company (KPEZDMC) Amer Sultan Tareen paid a visit to visited Peshawar Economic Zone and called upon the management of various industrial units, including FF Steel, Northern Bottling Company and ZRK Industries.
According to a statement, the visit was aimed to appreciate the progress made by various industries in the zone.
During the meeting with the management of the enterprises, they were assured of the support and cooperation to maintain smooth business friendly environment.
Secretary Industries on this occasion also praised the progress made by the aforementioned units in the past three years specially during the COVID-19 pandemic and commended their contribution to the national economy and provision of job creation opportunities for the locals.
During the visit, the Secretary also took the opportunity to appeal to the management for donations to aid earthquake victims in Türkiye and Syria.
He emphasized the need for the business community to come together and support these countries in their time of need.
Advises worker to ‘Jail bharo’, himself hides in home like mouse: Khawaja Asif

Defence minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (Pmln) leader Khawaja Asif said he (Imran Khan) advised all party workers to ‘Jail Bharo’ and himself hidden in home like mouse.
In tweet on Friday criticised Imran and said He is calling his workers to arrive Zaman Park and save me (from arrest).
Tells court that he is aged and injured so he could not appear before court, Khawaja continued, and his companions get imprisonment for two days and starts crying on Television.
While referring to Nawaz Shareef he said, that was Nawaz Shareef who held daughter hand and came back to country for imprisonment.
