MARDAN: The district administration has imposed Section 144 in Mardan for the next 14 days and banned operation on CNG stations in Mardan district. An official notification issued by deputy commissioner Habibullah Arif said. According to the notification the regional manager SNGPL Mardan region wrote a letter to deputy commissioner Mardan that SNGPL is facing acute shortage of gas due to the huge gap between demand and supply. The SNGPL had requested to impose a complete ban on operations of CNG stations up to January 20, 2022 to fulfill the domestic gas demand. The deputy commissioner has imposed section 144 Cr.P.C and banned operation on CNG station till 20 January 2022. Online
