Secretary Information and Public Relations Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Muhammad Khalid, paid an official visit to Pakhtunkhwa Radio Peshawar FM 92.2, where he conducted a detailed inspection of the organization’s various departments and reviewed its professional activities. During the visit, Secretary Khalid inspected the news, accounts, production, technical, and administrative sections. He was briefed by respective officials on the operational procedures and performance metrics of each department. Station Director Haroon Khan Daudzai provided an overview of the radio’s programming, highlighting its social awareness campaigns, informative broadcasts, and public service content. He also emphasized the station’s commitment to responsible journalism and community outreach. Expressing satisfaction with the overall performance, Secretary Muhammad Khalid particularly commended the station’s coverage related to the Line of Control (LoC) amidst recent tensions between Pakistan and India. He praised the professionalism and dedication of the station director, producers, and broadcast staff for their credible and responsible reporting. Secretary information emphasized the continued relevance and importance of radio as a powerful medium for public communication. “Radio remains one of the most dignified, effective, and far-reaching tools for delivering timely, authentic, and reliable information,” he stated. Pakhtunkhwa Radio Peshawar FM 92.2 has successfully earned public trust through its consistent and credible broadcasting, particularly during challenging times, he said and added that the dissemination of accurate, positive, and constructive content aimed at fostering national unity and social harmony.
Later, Secretary Muhammad Khalid awarded appreciation certificates to outstanding employees in recognition of their exemplary services and dedication.
