Senior advocate withdraws from pleading interior ministry case

Senior Advocate Makhdoom Ali Khan has recused himself from representing interior ministry in Quetta Massacre suo motto case. He has also informed interior ministry about his withdrawal.
The senior advocate has taken this decision after Supreme Court judgment seeking an end to hiring services of private counsels by government institutions in their cases. Makhdoom Ali khan said that it is not appropriate for him to plead case of interior ministry after Apex court judgment.
It is pertinent to mention here that Khan also withdrew himself from representing Sindh government in another case a day before.
SC has sought cessation of practice to engaging private counsels by government institutions in their cases.
