Security Forces killed seven militants belonging to the Indian-backed group Fitna Al Khwarij in two separate operations in North Waziristan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, on 1 December 2025.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), an intelligence-based operation in the Mir Ali area led to a firefight that resulted in six militants being killed. Another operation in Spinwam neutralized one more militant. Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the deceased militants, who had been involved in attacks against Security Forces, law enforcement agencies, and civilians.
The ISPR stated that sanitization operations are ongoing to eliminate any remaining militants in the area. These operations are part of Pakistan’s relentless counter-terrorism campaign under the vision “Azm-e-Istehkam,” approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, aimed at eradicating foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country.
