Seven outlaws held, 7 bikes and 2.5 kg hashish recovered

Islamabad Ramana Police arrested seven outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered wine, beer, hashish and weapons from their possession.
SP (Saddar Zone) Umer Khan assigned task to SHOs of Saddar Zone to arrest those involved in criminal and drug peddling activities. Station House officers of Ramana police along with ASIs Muhammad Akram, Sajjad and others succeeded to bust a gang of dacoits and recovered stolen property, cash and ornament from them. They have been identified as Arslan, Mohsin and Noman while police is hopeful for more recovery from them.
Police team also arrested three bike lifter identified as Sheryar Khan, Sherman and Nasir besides recovery of seven stolen bikes from their possession. A drug pusher Khalid Mehmood was also held in possession of 2500 gram hashish.
SHO Tarnol Police station Sub-Inspector Rab Nawaz arrested a proclaimed offender Azam Khan wanted to police for alleged involvement in murder case. Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them.
SSP Islamabad Waqar-Ud-Din Syed has directed all Station House Officers for effective crackdown against those involved in drug peddling activities. He asked for renewed efforts to curb such practices and get rid of society from such menace. He said that performance in this regard would be reviewed on continuous basis.
He said that menace of drug peddling would not be allowed in educational institutions or anywhere and strict action to be ensured against those involved in such ugly business or activity.
The SSP also categorically asked all police officials to focus on resolving the public complaints and take every possible step to provide maximum relief to citizens.
