PTI leader Babar Awan has said Shahbaz Gill is being subjected to custodial torture.
“it can be seen in CCTV Footage that he were hit by pistol butt.Shahbaz Gill showed it in court room by lifting up his shirt, he said this while talking to media men here outside Islamabad High Court (IHC).
It was said in TV programs that such torture was perpetrated which cannot be shown, he stated.
Law says no one can be forced to confess crime through torture, he indicated. Article 14-F of the constitution is being trampled. Prestige of any one can not be hurt, he added.
He underlined that hospital has been turned into police station. No one is being allowed to meet him, he added.
Confessing offence in presence of police is of no importance, he remarked.;
We have said in Asad Umar petition that there is no room anywhere else, therefore, high court has been approached, he observed. Court has been prayed for the protection of life and mental health of Shahbaz Gill.
