PML-N senior leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi while demanding forensic test of alleged audio clip of former Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Saqib Nisar has said it is known nothing to whom the former CJP Saqib Nisar gave orders.
“you should get conduct forensic test but we want justice. Saqib Nisar got awarded sentences to Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz. At least now these sentences should be abolished”, he said this while talking to media men outside the Accountability Court (AC) here Tuesday.
He went on to say no one can say that the voice was not of former Chief Justice of Pakistan Saqib Nisar. If we have prepared affidavit or made audio tape then award us punishment at every cost. If what has been said in the affidavit is correct then Saqib Nisar be punished. If it is wrong then punishment be inflicted on Rana Shamim.
He held government wants to forge its connection with audio clip. The then Chief justice of Pakistan is saying in audio clip that punishment has to be awarded to Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz. To whom the former CJP gave orders, it is not known. You should get conduct forensic test but we want justice. To whom I will go for justice. Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz were awarded punishment under an order and conspiracy.
He remarked either government get forensic test or whatever it wills but the fact is this the voice is of former CJP Saqib Nisar. Former CJP should be called and asked if he had said this or not; Government ministers and hired spokespersons will continue to hold press conferences.
He underlined every institution should work within its constitutional parameters. The matters should be dealt with in the court as per constitution and not on recommendations.
What is being done with the justice system is before all of us, he said adding need is there to reach the bottom of audio clip and affidavit. The things contained therein are menacing.
He remarked if CJP matter comes then suo motu notice should be taken. The audio clip matter should be got verified.
He observed there should have been no NAB ordinance, Government has brought wrong ordinance. Chairman NAB is being blackmailed. It has not become known so far NAB has given what benefit . No court has given any decision with reference to new NAB ordinance that this ordinance has what effect. NAB has big hand in deteriorating the matters of the country. It should be asked from NAB it has included how many politicians in the investigation and how much money it has recovered.
He underlined government corruption is before all of us. Prior to formation of NAB, the income of Pakistani citizen was more than Indian and Bangladeshi citizen. The quantum of inflation in Pakistan is higher than any world country. The cure to inflation lies in following the constitution only.
