ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) MPA Sharmila Faruqui Thursday castigated the Pakistani actors currently gearing up for the HUM TV awards whereas Hollywood star Angelina Jolie is visiting the flood affected areas. Sharmila took to her Instgram and pointed out that an international star Angelina Jolie, who has worldwide fame is visiting Dadu to spread love, hope and appealing the international community help the disaster hit people. On the contrary, our local stars are all busy in Toronto preparing for the HUM TV awards ceremony, enjoying the dance rehearsals and luxuries of five-star hotels when our country men don’t even have roofs over their heads. She appreciated Pakistani star singer Hadiqa Kiani for coming forward from amongst the whole industry and visiting the flood hit areas. In the end, she said that she truly believes in cultural activities, award shows, performances etc., promoting our talent & our artists and actors are second to none, but it would have been a great support if all of them had reached out to their fellow countrymen who have lost their homes, lives & livelihood to the devastating floods.
