SHC allows Fahmida, Zulfiqar to contest polls

Sindh High Court (SHC) has allowed Fahmida Mirza and Zulfiqar Mirza to contest election. The court has accepted constitutional petitions of Fahmida Mirza and Zulfiqar Mirza.
Fahmida Mirza and Zulfiqar Mirza had filed nomination papers from NA-223 while Zulfiqar Mirza had filed nomination papers from PS-70, 71 and 72.
Returning officer and election tribunal had rejected their nomination papers. Fahmida Mirza and Zulfiqar Mirza were charged that they were bank defaulters.
Later Fahmida Mirza and Zulfiqar Mirza filed constitutional petitions in SHC against the decision of appellate tribunal.
The complainant has said he will resort to Supreme Court (SC) against the decision of SHC.
