KARACHI : Sindh High Court (SHC) while accepting review petition of Sindh information minister and PPP leader Sharjeel Memon has ordered to remove his name from Exit Control List (ECL).
Corruption case of Rs 5.75 billion is running against Sharjeel Memon and others in information department Sindh.
A two members bench of SHC presided over by Justice KK Agha took up the case for hearing Tuesday.
The court while accepting bail plea of Sharjeel Memon had ordered to place his name in ECL.
Raj Ali Wahid advocate said Sharjeel Memon has to seek permission again and again for going abroad. Sharjeel Memon is appearing in the trial court regularly.
He requested the court to order for removing Sharjeel Memon name from ECL permanently.
NAB and federal government supported the removal of Sharjeel Memon name permanently from ECL.
