Former Prime Minister (PM) and PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif has paid tribute to martyrs on the completion of 9 years of Army Public School Peshawar incident. In his message on the occasion of 9th anniversary of martyrs in APS incident, Shehbaz Sharif said that we can never forget the day of December 16, 2014.
9 years ago on 16 December, our innocent children were subjected to terrorism. We salute the martyrs, their parents and families and we share their grief. He said that whole nation gathered on a narrative against terrorism.
A decisive battle to end terrorism was launched under the leadership of former Prime Minister (PM) Mohammad Nawaz Sharif 9 years ago.
President PML-N said that we also pay tribute to security forces who are fighting bravely to end terrorism. If the implementation on former Prime Minister’s policy of ending terrorism had not been stopped, terrorism would not have revived today.
He said that time has proved that terrorists are no one’s friend.Terrorism will end not by condemning, but by punishing Pakistan’s enemies. Unfortunately they played with the life of the people by bringing back the terrorists. The peace of the country has been devastated. The foundations of the economy have been shaken.
Shehbaz Sharif further said that firm determination and decisive action like that of Former Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif is needed to end terrorism. May God raise the ranks of the martyrs and give patience to families.
