ISLAMABAD
A local court in Islamabad on Wednesday approved one-day transit remand of Awami Muslim League (AML) head and former federal minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmad. Sheikh Rashid was taken into custody by the Murree police. The court also ordered to produce Sheikh Rashid in the court concerned by 2pm tomorrow. The court had pronounced the reserved judgement on the police’s request for Sheikh Rashid’s transit remand.
