ISLAMABAD: Shireen Mazari has resorted to Islamabad High Court (IHC) against not granting her permission to meet her daughter Imaan Mazari and her son in law Hadi Ali Chattha. Former federal minister Shireen Mazari approached IHC on the matter of meeting with her daughter Imaan Mazari and son in law Hadi Ali Chatha in jial. She underwent biometric process too to file her petition in IHC. She took the plea in the petition that she had gone to Adiala jail to meet her daughter and son in law yesterday. But she was not allowed to meet them despite the day was fixed for meeting. She has filed petition in IHC on the basis of right enshrined in jail rules with reference to meeting. Shireen Mazari has appealed in the petition the basis plea is this the right which is laid down in the jail manual for meeting be given to her. I am a mother and I want to meet my daughter. She is too desirous of meeting her son in law. Despite it she is being prevented. According to Shireen Mazari she has given reference to the concerned authorities in respect of their laws besides making it clear Pakistan has signed international charter of basic human rights. Article one explains mental and physical violence which is being violated. She further took the plea not only international laws but also the laws of Pakistan are being violated. Pakistan credibility has always remained good with reference to international laws. We say this too India on Indus Water Treaty that it cannot violate. She said Pakistan has been adhering to international accords from the very first day. If Pakistan position has remained strong then why it is being weakened or ruined now.
