PML-Q supreme leader Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain on Thursday said that the government should reconsider clamping taxes on key items like formula milk, lifesaving medicines, pulses used by the poor man.
As per the media reports, PML-Q chief said businessmen and shopkeepers increased the prices and blamed it on General Sales Tax (GST).
In a statement, Chaudhary Shujaat said that the salaried class cannot increase their salaries on their own.
Shujaat urged the government to take care of the salaried class. The PML-Q leader appealed to all heads of the political parties to introduce public welfare projects.
He asked the government to take practical measures to provide public relief.
